Associate / Senior Associate – US Sourcing

To source candidates that match specific criteria provided by the Hays US Business in response to a client requirement (criteria include skills, location, qualifications, salary/rate etc).

Key Accountabilities

Priority % of Time - 80%
  • Sourcing from Job Portals like Monster, LinkedIn, Dice and Making Job postings if required
  • Excellent knowledge on OneTouch. Searching, Creating and Enriching candidates, organisations and contacts
  • Should have good knowledge of various Job permits like Cop2cop, W2, Green Card etc.
  • Proficiency in creating effective Boolean search
  • Analysing candidates’ experience and skills against specified criteria and selecting suitable candidates
  • Analysing CVs for suitable experience and skills based on specified job descriptions and selecting suitable candidates
  • Recording progress in tracking spreadsheets
  • Providing regular updates to the Team Leader
  • Adhering to company policies (time keeping, attendance, internet use, data protection etc)
Priority % of Time - 10%
  • Respond to recommendations for improvement from US consultants on the quality of the candidates supplied.
  • Liaise daily with the US recruitment teams both verbally and in writing
  • Provide support across all of the teams within Hays Business Solutions, supporting other teams to improve their knowledge and processes
Priority % of Time - 5%
  • Ensure awareness and understanding of dashboards / KPI’s / SLA’s performance and the performance of the team against them.
  • Follow and aim to exceed targets and KPI’s.

Knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience


  • Working knowledge of One Touch application
  • English language skills (both verbal and written)

  • Graduate- in any discipline
  • 0 – 1 year of relevant experience for Associates & 1+ years experience for Sr Associates
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently complete tasks

  • Strong client focus & customer support: follow-up skills; commitment to continuous improvement


  • Knowledge of various IT skills / roles and US Sourcing Industry
  • Previous experience in sourcing candidates
