Job Description: Application Systems Administrator ( Server/Client)
Overview
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Windows Server/Client Administrator to maintain/support/upgrade and enhance our systems for Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
Internally the role will be called RPA Administrator and if required we will have the incumbent upskilled in technologies pertaining to RPA – specifically in Automation Anywhere (AA) and allied technologies
The resource would need to work in UK business hours.
You will be responsible for
Install and configure software utilities and various desktop applications
Deployment of software packages pertaining to RPA.
Creating and maintaining the necessary documentation of all system builds, changes and SOPs.
Troubleshooting and assist in resolving issues with
Operating system issues.
Applications like MS Office, Chrome, Internet Explorer, MS Edge etc.
Connectivity related issues.
Virus/malware issues.
Understand, support & maintain various application security controls.
Understand and implement accesses, policies via AD groups, GPO settings.
Ensure efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for hardware/software problems.
Effective communication / reporting to end users and team members.
Demonstrated follow-through on assignments and issue resolution.
Skills & Experience
Must Have Skills
BSc/BE/B Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Problem Solving skills – we need a person who has in depth knowledge and who could get things resolved for us.
Windows Server & Client administration skills, but should be comfortable exploring the world beyond Windows.
Infrastructure troubleshooting.
Resource should have 4+ years of experience.
Resource should have good communication & strong coordination/collaboration skills.
Resource should have ability to handle the pressure
Desirables
Knowledge of installing, patching, maintaining Automation Anywhere (AA).
Basic Unix administration skills.
Experience with TCP/IP and general networking issues.
Professional certification in any of MCSA, MCSE, MCITP will be a plus.
