Job Description: HBS Business Analyst (RPA)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced RPA Business Analyst to join our expanding ethical RPA CoE

The role forms part of an offshore development team and works in conjunction with onsite RPA Business Analyst; to understand business processes for automation, document them and work closely with the IT development team to automate them.

Key Accountabilities
  • Working with Business Process Owners and Subject Matter Experts to identify processes viable to be automated and associated ROI.
  • Understand & elaborately document the process flows, decision points, exception handling; identify systems involved, security requirements for an automation requirement.
  • Writing process definition documentation, allowing both business and technical representation to follow the to-be solution.
  • Working with Solution Architects on the overall To-Be solution
  • Contributing to the delivery phase deliverables (e.g. UAT testing)
Skills & Experience Must Have
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience working in a similar role with the RPA technology being one of the big three.
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal) with strong communication & collaboration skills.
  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience working as a Business Analyst
  • Experience of process analysis across multiple business areas and applications
  • Demonstratable experience of running design workshops in person and remotely
  • Ability to work with Business process owners to identify automation benefits outside of just FTE saving.
  • Experience of converting non-FTE benefits into ROI
  • Experienced stakeholder management of both customers and internal automation practice
  • Ability to breaking down processes into deliverable user stories.
  • Demonstratable experience of working with Solution Architects to build the correct solution and not a carbon clone of the existing process.
  • Experienced working within the delivery phase of RPA projects
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodology and Scrum framework
  • Ability to understands the business issues and data challenges of organisation.
  • Comfortable working with colleagues across the globe.
  • Well versed with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Visio will be an added advantage.
Desirables
  • Being fluent in German/French would be an added advantage.
  • Experience working on projects using Automation Anywhere
  • Experience using Automation Anywhere Discovery Bot/ Fortress IQ
  • Providing solutions using the Power Platform
  • Business Analyst certification from an RPA provider
  • Development using RPA tool set.
  • Experience using process and task mining tools.
