Technical Lead- Java Front End

The role forms part of an offshore development team. The ideal candidate should have strong development and support background, has excellent all-round IT skills (networking, programming, database skills). You should be passionate about technology and possess very good analytical, development, and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain front-end templates
• Have an active role in all features and design decisions, defining front-end architecture
• Be a good communicator and confident enough to work with clients
• As technical lead, be involved in defining development best practices and applying them in a large distributed development team
• Integrate applications with network systems, servers and databases.
• Troubleshoot problems with application development and use.
• Responsible for execution of SDLC processes to include sprint pre-planning/planning, retros, demos, architecture and code reviews
• Work closely with the rest of the tech leads and senior engineering leadership and product management teams to ensure we're building awesome, feature-rich, scalable and secure product lines, products and features
• Strong understanding of product development.
• Clear written and verbal communications skills (English), including presentation skill.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must Have

• 5-8 years’ experience in React/Redux & NodeJS
• Experience with front end technologies SASS LESS, etc
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Experience with React, ReasonML or similar frameworks (min.1 year)
• Experience with functional programming
• Able to integrate existing API(REST)
• Technical Skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, JSON, Web pack, Babel, npm
• Strong object-oriented JavaScript.
• Mobile/Responsive UI development
• Strong MVC frameworks - Angular, AngularJS
• Flat box, material design concepts
• Skills in one or more chosen frameworks/libraries like jQuery or Bootstrap
• AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML)
• Git/GitHub, Continuous integration using maven & Jenkins.

Advantageous

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required.
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies and tools
