Software Configuration/Release Management (Software Engineering)

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Software Configuration/Release Management professional, with proven experience of deploying software packages.

Key Accountabilities

• Good Hands On – Peoplesoft / Automation Anywhere.
• Flexible to work in shifts (UK hours).
• Flexible to work some weekends.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must Have

• Experience in deploying software packages – preferably on PeopleSoft/Automation Anywhere/Power BI.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal.)
• Methodical, and Process Oriented.
• Well versed with Change Control & Versioning.
• Able to operate outside of core working hours where required.

Deliverables

• Deployment of Software Packages (including but not limited to code/configuration/sql scripts/data mover scripts/security steps) across different environments while following due process/approvals.
• Understands and maintains the differences between environments in terms of software packages.
• Understands and maintains different versions of software packages as per requirements.
• Rollback of software packages where needed.
• Troubleshooting as per requirements.
• Process Optimization / Improvement.
• Develops relationships with stakeholders that foster business ties.
• Manages business expectations effectively.
• Delivers informative, well-organized presentations.

• Exposure to SQL.
• Exposure to Excel Macros
• Exposure to HTML/CSS.
• Exposure to Process Improvement {Lean, Six Sigma}.
