Test / Senior Test Engineer

The role forms part of a growing team and expanding programme within India. The ideal candidate should have strong testing and development background, has excellent all-round IT skills (Functional, Automation, Programming, SQL skills). You should be passionate about technology and possess very good analytical, development, and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate effectively.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop, manage and maintain automation framework that can retain reusable automation test cases and test data using Ranorex.
• Develop test automation strategies and approaches that incorporate multiple phases of software testing including smoke, sanity, functional and regression testing.
• Convert manual test scripts into automated test cases.
• Develop and execute automated test cases to validate business requirements and system stability.
• Manage set up and prepare test environments in advance of testing and mange testing progress reports including defect management.
• Create and /or maintain existing scripts to support testing as needed.
• Assist in the knowledge transfer to current automation layout to other groups.
• Support manual test teams by working closely with them to automate their main features.
• Communication with the team leads for any technical / business requirements.
• Analysing and resolving production issues independently.
• Creating and maintaining of all necessary documentation associated with testing
• Support throughout test and implementation

Skills & Experience

Must Have

• 2+ years’ experience and knowledge of QA automation tool (Ranorex/Selenium), Ranorex is mandatory.
• Good understanding of Ranorex/Selenium automation tool.
• Create Data Driven Framework in Ranorex from Scratch.
• C#/Java, Visual Basic Scripting, SQL
• Object-Oriented automation framework design.
• Basic OOPS knowledge is a must.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD and GIT tool.
• Good knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Good understanding of JIRA.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle/STLC/Bug life cycle. (preferably Agile mythology)
• Must have sound experience of working directly with client & can work independently as an individual contributor.
• Must possess good aptitude to learn new technologies quickly and effectively.
