SaaS DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer

3SS is looking for a DevOps Engineer with infrastructure background for its SaaS Platform. DevOps Engineers will work with technical leadership, infrastructure, and software engineers to automate the build, release, and deployment of the 3 Story Software platform to our global infrastructure. This position will also deal with the maintenance and monitoring of the infrastructure.

Key Accountabilities

  • Automate the build, release, and deployment of the 3 Story Software SaaS platform on Microsoft Windows based systems
  • Work with the team to research and implement new tools and technologies
  • Automate infrastructure monitoring and alerting for resources, reliability, and security
  • Deploy virtual infrastructure using scripting tools such as PowerShell and JSON templates.
  • Deploy patches to software and systems.

Knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Must Have
  • Proven work experience (2 - 4 years) in a DevOps and/or Infrastructure role
  • Proficient in scripting and automation. (Windows CLI, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Experience with Continuous integration (CI) / Continuous delivery (CD)
  • Experience with various build and deployment platforms
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware, Azure, AWS, Hyper-V)
  • Ability to work as both part of a team and independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A desire for continuous self-education on current and emerging technologies
  • Willingness to step up and volunteer to take on tasks that may be less desirable or outside of the normal set of responsibilities
  • Advantageous
  • Experience with TeamCity and Octopus Deploy
  • Azure infrastructure experience
  • Serverless in Azure
  • Azure Sql Server (PaaS)
  • Experience with Jenkins & MSBuild
  • Experience with Configuration management tools like Ansible/Chef/Puppet
  • Understanding of firewall, load balancing and networking technologies
  • Coding skills (.Net, C#)
  • Solid understanding of network security
  • Microsoft Active Directory and group policy administration.
  • Microsoft patch deployment technologies (WSUS)
