Technical Lead - RPA

As a Technical Lead (RPA), one will be at the forefront of delivering projects that identify, design, and implement robotics process solutions; using Automation Anywhere Technologies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Following are Key Accountabilities :-
  • Maintain Automation Pipeline
  • Understand/Document/Maintain business requests for RPA Implementation
  • Candidate Identification
  • Understand Business Context of Automation
  • Top Level Benefit Analysis
  • Candidate Prioritisation
  • Facilitate Business Engagement/Communication.
  • Ensure Feasibility Analysis.
  • Identify Automation Opportunity.
  • Validate & Justify Automation.
  • Facilitate Pre Sprint Process including any PoC if required.
  • Facilitate the Sprint Process.
  • Ensure Use Case is documented.
  • Ensure Functional Specifications are documented.
  • Ensure Test & User Acceptance Strategy is defined.
  • Ensure Bot Design is documented.
  • Propose Business Process Improvement/Reengineering.
  • Periodically review & keep updated (after due approvals) the AA Development Standards.
  • Define and Implement the RPA Support Process.
  • Define & Implement the RPA Migration/Deployment Process.
  • Maintain Bot Library.
  • Define & Implement the RPA Security Process.
  • Document & Maintain the any special accesses/system or network configurations required by the bot.
  • Define & Implement the Analytics on Bot Performance (via Bot Insights/Power BI etc).
  • Ensure wherever possible the bot/code is reusable and keep track of any useful bots from BotStore.
  • Define & Implement the strategy for keeping Automation Anywhere updated to current stable version.
  • Keep track and ensure the different environments are monitored as per requirements.
  • Keep track & facilitate environment/licence booking.
  • Keep track/facilitate distribution/requirement of VMs.
  • Keep track and ensure Bot Runner is monitored.
  • Track any Open Support Cases with Automation Anywhere.
  • Provide continuous advice to RPA developers and Project Manager during project delivery.
  • Incumbent will also need to be an Individual Contributor too in bot development/deployment.

Knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Must Have
  • Experience in RPA with Automation Anywhere.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Able to operate outside of core working hours where required.
  • Technology Requirements
  • Experience in creation & deployment of modular & resilient bots on AA v 10 & above.
  • Experience in usage of Metabots.
  • Experience in usage of bots licenced from Botstore.
  • Experience in AA installation Client/Control Room.
  • Experience in AA Upgrade/Patching.
  • Experience deployment of Web Control Room.
  • Must have worked on o AA Recorders o AA Windows Integration o Object Cloning/PDF-Excel integration-extraction o Web services SOAP/REST o Terminal Emulator o Exception Handling
  • Experience in implementation of Security via Control Room.
  • Awareness and demonstrated ability of implementation of best practices for bot deployment.
  • Desirables
  • Exposure to .Net, or Automatic Testing, or other RPA tools.
  • Exposure to HTML/CSS.
  • Exposure to PL-SQL.
  • Exposure to Excel Macros.
  • Exposure to VB Script.
  • Exposure to Process Improvement {Lean, Six Sigma}.
  • Scrum Master Experience.
  • Process Design and Process Improvement experience.
  • Experience leading and managing project teams.
