Hays Business Solutions is looking for Power BI Developers at state of the art technology delivery centre consist of 200+ technical minds. Hays team believes in new ways and smarter ways to solve the business problem so there is a need of new reporting solution while capabilities based on SSAS, SSIS, SSRS and Oracle Business Intelligence already exist in the team. These members will be taking care of new business unit reporting by building solution on PowerBI hosted in Azure.

Key Accountabilities

• Relevant experience in Data warehousing, Business Intelligence and Analytics on Microsoft technology.
• Experience in data warehouse and Microsoft Business intelligence applications including data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. Assists in the development, maintenance, and support of an enterprise data warehouse system and corresponding data marts. .
• Experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS ,) & Power BI
• Experience connecting Microsoft Power BI to various data sources -Hadoop Hive Data Sets Impala , SAS Data Sets, MS Excel, CSV, Text, MS Access, SQL Server, MySQL etc.
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
• Exposure in working on Azure hosted PowerBI environment will be preferred

Knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience:

• Must Have
• Translate business needs to technical specifications by working with Business Representative
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
• Develop and update technical documentation
• Work closely with the various IT teams (Internal and External) to consume new data sources, refine existing data source and build out data visualizations and self-service data access capabilities.
• Willingness to step up and volunteer to take on tasks that may be less desirable or outside of the normal set of responsibilities
• Advantageous
• Azure infrastructure experience
• Handon Experience of Desktop and cloud based solutions
• Worked on reporting solution using multiple data sources like SQL, Excel, Oracle, CSV
• Experience of SQL Server DB administration
