Sr Recruiter / Recruiting Partner

Perform full cycle recruitment and source candidates that match specific criteria provided by the Hays UK Business in response to a client requirement (criteria includes skills, location, qualifications, salary/rate etc)

Key Accountabilities

  • To research internet job board websites and other websites for suitable candidates based on keyword searches.
  • To research the internet for suitable candidates based on specific job requirements.
  • Review and score applications and work sample questions on the Skills & Learning ATS tool ‘Applied’.
  • Identify and supply qualified prospects to the Sales team using tools like Linkedin Recruiter, Sourcebreaker, OneTouch and others.
  • Running keyword searches for candidates across multiple job boards and other websites.
  • Analysing candidates’ experience and skills against specified criteria and selecting suitable candidates.
  • Downloading suitable candidate CVs and sending to colleagues.
  • Analysing CVs for suitable experience and skills based on specified job descriptions and selecting suitable candidates.
  • Extracting relevant information from candidate profiles.
  • Performing general Internet research on specified criteria and compiling suitable data.
  • Recording progress in tracking spreadsheets.
  • Providing regular updates to the Team Leader.
  • Adhering to company policies (time keeping, attendance, internet use, data protection etc).
  • Respond to recommendations for improvement from UK consultants on the quality of the candidates supplied.
  • Liaise daily with the UK recruitment teams both verbally and in writing.
  • Provide support across all of the teams within Hays Business Solutions, supporting other teams to improve their knowledge and processes.
  • Ensure awareness and understanding of dashboards / KPI’s / SLA’s performance and the performance of the team against them.
  • Follow and aim to exceed targets and KPI’s.
  • Ensure all activities are aligned to the Hays brand values.

Knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience:

 
  • 1 to 4 years of experience in UK Full cycle recruitment of IT professionals
  • Working experience of UK based job portals and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel & Outlook
  • English language skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent searching techniques like Boolean, X-ray searches etc. 
  • Demonstrating and commitment to professional standards
  • Time management, planning and organisation
  • Record keeping
  • Graduate- in any discipline
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently complete tasks
  • The ability and willingness to learn and absorb knowledge quickly 
  • Strong client focus & customer support: follow-up skills; commitment to continuous improvement
  • Previous experience working in the IT industry is desired but not mandatory
