Technical Lead- Java Front End

The UI Designer would work closely with the project, Innovation and creative teams to drive development of clean, efficient, useful designs from conceptualization to through implementation for web/ mobile interfaces, marketing collaterals, and other communications.

He/She should able create User-centered interface design of web, desktop and mobile applications and understand the concept of Usability engineering, including user analysis and usability testing.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage design artefacts including interaction conceptual diagrams, wire frames, style guides, and user-interaction flowcharts.
• Ensure design engagements are executed on time and at a high standard. Proactively obtain feedback and information to drive design engagements and decisions.
• Effectively communicate user experience and design options to teams using design tools, design thinking, visual communications, and narrative vision.
• Conceive, document, and evangelize guidelines and standards for user interface design and marketing communications
• Ensure a consistent look and feel across the application; Raise all application interfaces to a consistently high standard of user-centered design
• Champion and communicate user experience and design best practices to stakeholders and throughout the organization.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must Have

• 2+ years of UI experience
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
• Responsive design and development experience
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in Dreamweaver, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery for rapid prototyping.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction​
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
